HEADWATERS LODGE

Only 70 miles west of the "Heart of Texas", the Headwaters Lodge was completed in November of 2012.  This 4,000 square foot lodge will sleep 36 people in twin, extra-long full, extra-long twin, and queen beds. This lodge is top-notch. That combined with our superior service makes this hunting business second-to-none.  

It has two lofts with additional sleeping space, sofas, and a game table.  This is the place to read, play cards, work puzzles.  With simple design, the lodge has five bedrooms, great room, wash room, mud room, ice machine and fully equipped kitchen.  If you choose not to cook,  we will feed you well.  You might even gain some weight.  

The great room has a wet-bar, indoor shuffle board, four dining tables, 42 inch HD TV, DVR, DVD player, wireless internet, and a hidden fireplace.  The fireplace is enclosed in the large wood and iron TV cabinet.  The lower portion is solid hand-crafted iron and fire brick.  The large door is opened in a unique fashion using a rope and pulley system cranked by an old windmill handle.  

A coffee bar and a Texas sized working windmill ceiling fan completes the main room.  The lodge has three complete bath areas with separate sinks, shower, and toilets.  

Outside gatherings will find a 750 square foot covered pavilion with four teak swings and a brick-on-sand floor. Ernie's Cantina is ready with a covered bar-b-cue area and a sink.  Under the massive oak tree in front of the lodge are two more teak swing benches and a washer pitching court.  In the summer, relax in the water tank that is used for swimming.  There is plenty of shade for outdoor events.  

In addition to a new horse barn, there is a meat processing room with a walk-in-cooler to preserve your trophy buck.  A paved entry and drive from Highway 2596 insures a clean arrival and dust free vehicles.
