Spring Turkey Hunting

This Hunt Includes:

  • 2 Gobblers
  • 4 days/3 nights Headwaters Lodge
  • Full Service Hunt-Guide, lodging and meals included
  • Two-on-One guiding
  • Game care
  • $1,650


Arrive noon of first day, hunt that afternoon, the next two full days and the morning of departure.
You have 3 full days to hunt.  That is a lot of time to work the birds and have fun. You have thousands of acres to hunt  while rotating hunt spots each day. 
Free Services:  Transportation to and from the airport; to and from the hunting areas; bird cleaning, packing and freezing; transportation to a taxidermy if requested. And if you needed anything we will make it happen. 

SESSIONS: 

Fall Turkey Hunting with a whitetail deer hunt:  If you wish to add a turkey to your whitetail deer hunt package, this will work for you.  ​

Texas turkey hunting is not as easy as it seems. 


This will be a great year for the avid turkey hunter.  Fun, oh yes.  If you like to talk turkey, this is for you. You can do your own calling, or let a guide do it for you.  


LeGrand Ranch is located in the NORTH ZONE and the SOUTH ZONE of Texas for the turkey hunting season. 

  • South zone: Begins in March 
  • North zone:  Begins two weeks later than sout zone

Spring Turkey Hunting

Coach Bob Knight visited our ranch for many years.  He loved to hunt turkey in the run and gun fashion. Never tiring, he took aim--job done.  He enjoyed the outdoors and hunted all across the great state of Texas.


Turkey tags are needed with a limit of 2 turkeys per gun or arrow.
